Thanksgiving again.

That time of year when every child is remembering their manners again, on their best behavior. When people seem happier and wholesome. I don't have a lot of time to write. My mother, sister and I have a party to prepare for. Happy Thanksgiving, one more time.

Ser/Estar

People become profound, more defined over the years. I think people change all the time, if we didn't change we wouldn't learn. Not only physically, but mentally. I know I am not the same person I was two years ago, let alone two months ago. We learn from every experience. We are a collaboration of all we have ever known. Let it be genetic, or environmental, ser or estar.

The secret life of bees.

I love this movie. It's so great.

Here are some of my favorite quotes;

People who think dying is the worst thing don't know a thing about life.

Sometimes not feeling is the only way you can survive.

Bee yard etiquette: ... the world is really one big bee yard, and the same rules work fine in both places:
Don't be afraid, as no life-loving bee wants to sting you. Still, don't be an idiot; wear long sleeves and long pants.
Don't swat. Don't even think about swatting. If you feel angry, whistle. Anger agitates,
while whistling melts a bee's temper. Act like you know what you're doing, even if you don't.
Above all, send the bees love. Every little thing wants to be loved.

... some things don't matter much. Like the color of a house. How big is that in the overall scheme of life?
But lifting a person's heart--now, that matters. The whole problem with people is ... they know what matters,
but they don't choose it... The hardest thing on earth is choosing what matters.

Time

Time presses on
when an act of dissatisfaction occurs,
time presses on.
Left out of step,
a mind becomes hazy
and something deemed important
becomes increasingly insignificant,
a considerable amount of ourselves is lost,
depleted from the standard,
a sacrifice unintended.
And when the time to distinguish
what has fallen occurs,
we obtain more than what was surrendered
and time presses on.

Paris

This summer I took a trip to Paris. That is where I took some of the best photographs I have ever taken. Soon, I will be starting a photography blog, thanks to some very good advice. For now, I hope you enjoy. (Click pictures to enlarge) You are also welcome to visit my Flikr account. http://www.flickr.com/photos/38317261@N08/

Remember to 'give credit where credit is due'. Thank you.

Love

Love is not a mathamatical equation,
you cannot take the square root
you cannot factor it
there is no formula for love
love isn't expressed in writing
you can't put it into a calculator
this is because there is no answer for love
and love most definitely is not the problem.

Below is..

This is how I want to feel.

That split-second
where you are suspended
in mid-air
above everything you've ever known.
Whatever has brought you down,
below you.
Anything that has made you feel that certain way,
gone.
All control is lost and there's nothing, absolutely nothing
between you and the freedom you hold within.

Hey, soul sister.
